1. A pipe drain installed along the inner circumference of a running track to drain both the track surface and the enclosed field area; perforated pipe is laid in a trench and covered with gravel, then the trench is filled to the surface with 4" to 6" of coarse sand. A more recnt and more durable solution is to install drainage trenches and cap off with a grid
