Cotoneaster dammeri
Bearberry Cotoneaster

The red-orange fruits of Bearberry Cotoneaster are small and elliptical, giving this groundcover shrub a subtle change of color in late Summer. If larger and more vibrant ornamental fruits are desired in a low shrub, try Cranberry Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster apiculatus), rather than Bearberry Cotoneaster (as shown here).
