Cornelian Cherry Dogwood is one of the first shrubs to flower in late Winter, opening about a month before the better-known, yellow-flowering Forsythia. The small yellow inflorescences of Cornelian Cherry Dogwood are more attractively displayed when the shrub is sited in front of an evergreen backdrop.
