Flowering Dogwood

The various cultivars of Flowering Dogwood are often selected based upon floral traits, including color of the bracts, size of the bracts, earliness in the season to bloom, earliness of age to bloom, heavy flowering ability, double flowering form, fragrance, and resistance to bract spotting (caused by anthracnose).
