The light pink inflorescences of Pink Spires Summersweet, while not as intensely pink as the up-and-coming 'Ruby Spice', are far better than 'Rosea', among Sweetspire cultivars. The late July and early August inflorescences of all Sweetspire cultivars are very fragrant, and best exude their perfume to nearby areas when planted in groups or en masse.
