Cephalanthus occidentalis
Buttonbush

The flowers of Buttonbush have an extended bloom period in mid-summer, with their ornamental uniqueness derived from the creamy white flowers clustered in a globe-like inflorescence, with many projecting styles. The fruits that occur later are noticeable, but not ornamentally significant.
