Castanea mollissima
Chinese Chestnut

Although the leaves of the various species of Chestnuts are all similar in morphology, Chinese Chestnut may have leaf blade bases that are the most asymmetrical. The leaves range from three to six inches long, with prominent teeth on the margins that often terminate in bristles (not as evident in this image).
