Callicarpa americana
American Beautyberry

Beautyberries tend to be sprawling shrubs with a vigorous amount of growth each season, blooming and fruiting on the new wood of the current season's growth (like Butterfly Bush in all of these traits), As such, they can be cut back liberally in early spring, and pinched back in late spring to promote lateral branching and compactness.
