Brassica oleracea 'Osaka Red'
Osaka Red Ornamental Cabbage

The attractive foliage of Ornamental Cabbage only begins to develop non-green colors when the nights become consistently cool in early Autumn. Since new leaves originate from the center of the head, this is where the "fall color" occurs, giving ornamental appeal to this alternative to Mums.
