European White Birch, sometimes known as Weeping Birch, is predominately upright oval in its growth habit, but its slender branch tips tend to be somewhat pendulous. This species suffers from both the birch leaf miner and bronze birch borer as serious pests, unless an annual spray program is implemented. The most popular cultivar is 'Youngii'.
