The bright golden-yellow inflorescences of Basket-of-Gold put on a spectacular display in April, giving this perennial groundcover a prominent niche in the early-season floral palette. Unfortunately, this perennial is often hard to establish, as it is prone to crown rot during the period of transplant re-establishment. However, once established, it has great vigor, and may overtake nearby plants if not sheared back halfway after flowering. |
