'Minuet' is the most slow-growing (about 0.5 foot per year) and compact (slowly to 6 feet) of all the Preston Lilacs (hybrids noted for their cold hardiness [zone 3], lateness of bloom [early June], stout upright stems, lighter foliage color, and disease/pest resistance [including powdery mildew absence]). Minuet Preston Lilac has purple-lavendar floral buds that open to lavendar-white inflorescences, with uncharacteristically dark green and very dense foliage. |
