Symphoricarpos orbiculatus
Indiancurrant Coralberry

The small fruits of Indiancurrant Coralberry weight down the slender stems of this small shrub, giving it a pendulous growth habit by late Summer. While these fruits are just beginning to ripen, the mature fruits have a lavendar-red or "coral" color, giving this native shrub part of its common name.
