Aesculus hippocastanum
European Horsechestnut

European Horsechestnut is extremely susceptible (along with Ohio Buckeye) to the development of powdery mildew, leaf blotch, and severe leaf scorch by mid- to late Summer, giving this species its greatest liability in the landscape (unless fruit litter is a potential problem).
