Pincushion Flower, along with Moonbeam Coreopsis, represent the two perennials that literally bloom all Summer and often after the initial frost of Autumn. This increasingly popular perennial performs well in full sun if given even moisture, but it is often sited in partial sun to partial shade where it is quite comfortable. The specific epithet of this cultivar was formerly listed as caucasica, but is now listed as columbaria. |
