Salvia farinacea
Mealycup Sage

The blue-purple inflorescences of Mealycup Sage are strongly vertical but only originate a few at a time from the crown, and are therefore best seen in a densely planted mass planting, especially if placed near white-, salmon-, or pink-flowering annuals.
