Cutleaf Coneflower, a tall perennial that is one of many native Rudbeckia species, has its terminal golden-yellow inflorescences atop tall stems with lobed foliage, blooming in mid- to late Summer and sometimes into early Autumn (at the feet of Cutleaf Coneflower in this image lies Viette's Little Suzie Black-eyed Susan). Cutleaf Coneflower, while drought tolerant, performs much better in moist soils when sited in full sun. |
