Rhodotypos scandens
Black Jetbead

The light- to medium-green, opposite foliage of Black Jetbead is doubly serrated, with impressed veins and acuminate apices, and completely covers the canopy of this shrub. This shrub should be utilized more often as a deciduous hedge for its attractive foliage and urban tolerance.
