Ohio Buckeye, an understory tree of the Eastern United States that prefers even moisture at the base of woodland slopes, adapts to sun or shade, and moist or dry conditions. It is in full flower and foliage in early Spring, just as most other trees are just as most other trees are just beginning to break bud.
