Swamp White Oak

Although this is the general obovate shape of the leaves of Swamp White Oak, significant variation occurs in the depth of the normally shallow sinuses between the lobes. The specific epithet indicates the color contrast between the dark green upper surface and the white-green lower surface of the leaf (not shown).
