Tanyosho Pine is excellent as a specimen evergreen that can fit nicely into relatively tight spaces where a natural, flat-topped growth habit will not hinder the view behind it, where it will soften the vertical elements of a hardscape, or where it will complement the horizontal elements of a hardscape.
