Although touted for its highly ornamental bark, Lacebark Pine is slow-growing and must be steadily limbed-up from a young age, in order for its trunks and larger branches to receive sufficient sunlight to develop a mottled bark appearance, and for this feature to be seen on an evergreen tree.
