Dwarf Alberta Spruce is one of the most popular evergreen shrubs planted at foundations. In this common setting, however, needle drop and stem death on the backside of the shrub often occur due to poor air circulation that allows moisture to remain for extended periods of time, promoting pest and disease damage.
