Formerly known as Pennisetum viridescens 'Moudry', this more vigorous cultivar of Fountain Grass will shatter its seed heads in late autumn and winter, and will prolifically self-sow the following year unless preventive measures are taken (deadheading and cleanup in late autumn, followed by pre- or post-emergent herbicides in spring, or hand-pulling of seedlings).
