Now listed as Pennisetum alopecuroides 'Moudry', Black Fountain Grass has coarser blades of foliage and is the last of the Fountain Grasses to bloom, having prominent purple-brown to nearly black, bottlebrush-like inflorescences that adorn the plant in Autumn.
