Rose Campion, a short-lived but self-sowing perennial, has a basal rosette of foliage its first year, then bursts into flower its second year, with the wonderful bicolor effect of its silvery-gray foliage and stems contrasting with its fluorescent magenta-pink flowers (there is also a white-flowering form).
