'Green Mountain' (shown here), along with 'Commemoration' and 'Legacy', form the three most common cultivars of Sugar Maple, with 'Endowment' and 'Wright Brothers' also fairly common. All of the popular cultivars have at least one of the following desirable traits: thicker leaves, drought tolerance, good fall color, or heavier trunk caliper at a young age.
