Like many shrub honeysuckles, Winter Honeysuckle can become a dense mass of stems and foliage, creating an effective visual screen for about nine months out of the year. Unfortunately, it has essentially no fall color, with its leaves slowly abscising throughout Autumn and into early Winter.
