Liriodendron tulipifera
Tulip Tree

Tulip Tree is one of the largest shade trees, having a strong central leader and pyramidal growth habit in youth, becoming upright oval with arching lower branches at maturity (as shown here), and climaxing with a more spreading and irregular upper canopy that is divided into several main branches with old age.
