Lantanas, which are actually soft-wooded small shrubs, should be considered as annual groundcovers when placed in the landscape; they are fast growing and never stop flowering in full sun. Yellow Sage (another name for this plant) is also grown by florists in greenhouses for its attractive cut flowers.
