Blue Hollies, while named for their blue evergreen foliage, have showy fruits on the female plants (mostly red, as shown here) and have stems that are usually not green in color (mostly stout, grooved, and purplish, as shown here with 'Blue Girl', but with China Boy® and China Girl® being the exceptions, having thin green stems with lighter green foliage).
