Iberis sempervirens
Evergreen Candytuft

Candytuft has narrow foliage that is fine-textured and evergreen, but emerges from winter in its northern range in better shape if it is lightly covered with boughs of discarded seasonal greenery in late December, to shield it from the upcoming harsh temperatures and dessicating winds of January and February.
