Acer saccharinum
Silver Maple

Silver Maple leaves, although sometimes confused with those from Red Maple, have more prominent incisions, deeper sinuses, more prominent basal lobes, and are often much larger. Both have silvery undersides. However, since Silver Maple and Red Maple freely hybridize in the wild, various degrees of merged features readily occur.
