Capenoch Star Perennial Sunflower has yellow to lemon-yellow inflorescences, whose long pedicels make it a good cut flower. This hybrid species, while much lesser known than the annual Sunflower (Helianthus annuus), is underutilized in modern perennial landscapes, where it thrives in tough sites having poor, dry soils.
