Sunburst Honeylocust emerges with a stunning lemon-yellow foliage color in early Spring, then quickly fades to medium green by late Spring. However, flushes of occasional new growth often emerge in Summer, creating a bicolor, lemon-on-green effect in the canopy that extends the period of its ornamental appeal. The branching of this cultivar is highly irregular, especially in youth.
