Elaeagnus angustifolia
Russian Olive

Russian Olive is often found in multitrunked form with an irregular canopy. With age, its branches are subject to predictable dieback, but it responds well to heavy pruning of both dead and living wood, which induces new growth that is juvenile and more silvery-foliaged in color than that from older branches.
