Crataegus viridis 'Winter King'
Winter King Hawthorn

The mature bark of Winter King Hawthorn has wider flakes and a lighter orange interior bark as compared to other hawthorns. Interestingly, the thorny species form is known as Green Hawthorn, due to its bark taking on an olive green coloration when it is wet.
