Pinus nigra
Austrian Pine

Austrian Pine makes a bold statement in the landscape even as a young tree, with its long and dense needles on an upright, stout frame. This is generally considered the most urban tolerant of all evergreen trees, with an ability to adapt to poor, alkaline, compacted, clay soils, and being tolerant of heat, drought, pollution, and Winter salt spray. However, it is subject to Diplodia tip blight with age.
