White Spruce

 

White Spruce, while slower growing and achieving a shorter mature height than either Norway Spruce or Colorado Spruce, is sometimes used as a substitute for these latter two common spruces for those very reasons; in addition, its green-blue to gray-blue needle color is more subtle than most forms of Colorado Blue Spruce, which can also be an asset.
